Now that the winds have settled some the fishing is good.
Lake Trout fishing is still fair to good. Try straight out, South and North of the harbor in 60 to 100 feet of water, using the dodgers with spin and glows close to the bottom. Try clean spoons off the downriggers, fishing 50 feet down to the bottom for best results. Green and white or black with glow colors have been best.
Steelhead fishing is very good with some being taken in the top 30 to 60 feet of water. Try straight out or North of the harbor, fish the color lines for best results. Put out some long lines on the boards, bright colors of spoons, small, and regular sizes. Start in 75 feet of water and work out as the sun comes up. Fish from 30 to 60 feet down in 50 to 140 feet of water.
Coho Salmon fishing has been good with some being taken straight out, and North of the harbor working the 60 to 120 foot of water areas. Try using clean spoons off the 10 color lead lines. Clean spoons and body baits off the dipseys, and downriggers are still working fishing 50 foot down. Try using silver, green and white and black and green with glow colors.
Pike and Bass fishing is good inside the harbor working the weed beds with small spoons or body baits.
Walleye fishing is still on the slow side, try North and South of the harbor working in the 40 to 70 foot of water areas. They are still scattered so keep looking. Clean small spoons, hot n tots, and crawler harnesses will be your best chance.
Try for perch inside the harbor along the channel or South by the cemetery using minnows.
Keep those lines tight!
