Saginaw Bay Fishing Report
The red hot walleye fishing straight out of Augres in the 31-41-foot depths has gradually tapered off this week, but some nice catches have come to the cleaning tables all week. The east side of the shipping channel has been quite productive as have the waters south of point AuGres, where anglers have been trolling between 24 to 31 feet. I also saw a superb catch of walleye pulled from 21 to 23- feet of water off the Pinconning Bar yesterday. Several fish were over four pounds, the two best going seven and eight pounds. All came on crawler harnesses.
