Hey Gang.
Well, I’ve made the decision and it was a tough one. I’m not going to be chartering any longer out of my 25′ Grady White Charter Boat. Even though I’m healing fine from my spring accident and surgery, just one more accident like it could put OL’Capt Dan on the sidelines for an extended period of time. I will still be chartering out of my smaller boat on the rivers and near shore waters of the bay though. This of course is a two person charter only and only during ideal and adequate weather conditions when fishing the bay. I’m selling my Grady White for what would be considered a steal, considering it’s condition and what comes with it. I hope you will forgive me posting it here ahead of my actual fishing report. But Larry was kind enough to allow me to do so, and somebody in our area might want to take advantage of this deal before the hard water season approaches. So here it is.

As far as the fishing goes, it has slowed some because of the warm weather. But good catches are still being made with harnesses and bouncers trolling along that last 12 to 14 foot ledge on the western side of the black hole. Also on the SW side of Little charities island in 14 to 16 FOW, as well as along the Eastern shoreline between Caseville and Port Austin in 28 to 32 FOW. Me and Two friends fished out of Caseville last Wednesday 8-03-11 and did well with both spoons and spinners. Pictures below with boat pictures. As usual be safe, fish smart and tight lines.
Capt. Dan.
