Harbor Beach Fishing Report

Lake Huron Salmon

Lake Huron Salmon

Walleye are being taken straight out and North of the harbor in the 80 to 90 foot of water areas using crawler harnesses, and small spoons or Hot & Tots best colors have still been the lime green, copper, or mixed veggie, orange and black, and black with white colors. You might want to try casting off the North wall in the evenings with body baits and spoons.

Salmon and Steelhead are being taken in 80 to 130 foot of water, North and straight out from the harbor with spoons off the downriggers and also on some 2,3, and 5 color lead lines off the Offshore boards. The bright orange and black, copper, black and white and green are good colors to start with. They are scattered so work till you find them.

Lake Trout have also been taken mixed in with the Salmon and Steelhead North, and straight out of the harbor in the 80 to 130 foot of water areas, using dodgers with the spin and glows, also spoons down 90 to 120 feet.

This is the last Saturday for the Harbor Beach Light House tours this year so come on out and take a tour back in time. Get here early to make sure you catch the boat and have time to enjoy yourself. Tickets are available at the Harbor Beach City Marina office. Hours are 10 am to 1 pm with the last trip out to the Light House leaving the dock at 12:15 pm.
