Lake Trout fishing is good, North, South, and straight out of the harbor in 60 to 80 feet of water. Try using dodgers or cow bells with spin and glows and spoons close to the bottom and also spoons down 50 to 70 feet.
Some Steeelhead, Salmon, have been taken in the 40 to 80 foot of water areas, using Spoons off the downriggers, and 2 or 3 colored lead lines off the Offshore boards. Small, Regular and Magnum size spoons working best. You can also look for the color lines on the lake and work them for better results. Try using some orange and black, and purple and black, and bright colors for best results.
Walleye fishing is still slow, but a few are being taken casting from the wall. Try early morning and late evening casting small body baits.
There is plenty of water at the ramps, docks and out the channel, so get that boat out and come enjoy a day on the water.
Keep those lines tight,
