Steelhead are still being taken on the color lines in the 50 to 100 foot of water areas. Start in 50 feet of water and work out. Green, orange, orange and black, and bright colored spoons on five and ten color lead lines with the Offshore Boards are working best. Also try spoons off the downriggers set from 25 foot to 60 foot down.
Salmon fishing is good with some nice fish still being taken in 60 to 100 feet of water areas, using spoons off the dipseys and downriggers and five, and ten colored lead lines with the Offshore boards. Working 25 to 50 feet down. Halloween, green, orange with glow ladders, and watermelon colors are still working best.
Lake Trout fishing is fair to good fishing in 80 to 120 feet of water. Use dodgers with spin and glows, squid,or flys close to the bottom. Try green, orange and black, orange, and yellow colored spoons.
Brown Trout have still been being taken in the 50 to 70 foot of water areas straight out North and South of the harbor.
Pike and Bass are still being taken inside the harbor and close to shore on spoons and body baits.
Perch fishing is picking up some, try inside the harbor and South of the harbor by the cemetery using minnows.
Walleye fishing is picking up some, with some being taken North of the harbor at first light in 50 to 70 feet of water on crawler harnesses or small spoons and body baits. Early mornings and late evening.
Light House tours have started again. Every Saturday from 10am to 1pm with the last trip out to the light house leaving the dock at 12:30.
