Harbor Beach Fishing Report Lake Trout have been taken North, and straight out of the harbor in the 80 to 130 foot of water areas, using dodgers with the spin and glows, or clean spoons down 90 to 120 feet.
Some Salmon and Steelhead are being taken in 80 to 130 foot of water, North and straight out from the harbor with spoons off the downriggers and also on some 2,3, 5, and 10 color lead lines off the Offshore boards. The bright orange and black, black and white, blue, and green colors are working. Also it is time to try putting a few J-Plugs out for those fall Salmon that might be showing up. They are still scattered so work till you find them.
You might want to try for some Walleye straight out and North of the harbor in the 70 to 100 foot of water areas using crawler harnesses, and small spoons or Hot & Tots, best colors have still been the lime green, copper, mixed veggie, orange and black, and black with white or glow colors. Don’t forget to try casting off the North wall in the evenings with body baits and spoons.
Keep those lines tight,
Captains Ken and Janice Deaton
