Lake Trout fishing is slow, try fishing in 60 to 120 feet of water. Use dodgers with spin and glows, squid,or fly’s close to the bottom. Try white with pink dot spin and glows or orange and black, orange, and yellow colored spoons.
Steelhead are being taken on the color lines in the 50 to 100 foot of water areas. Start in 50 feet of water and work out. Orange, orange and black, and bright colored spoons on the two, three, five and ten color lead lines with the Offshore Boards are the best to try. Also try spoons off the downriggers set from 25 to 60 feet down.
Some Salmon are being taken in 60 to 100 feet of water areas straight out and North of the harbor using spoons off the dipseys and downriggers and two, three, five, and ten colored lead lines with the Offshore boards. Working 25 to 60 feet down. Halloween, orange with glow ladders, orange and black blue berry muffin, copper with black, and lime green with glow colors have been working well. Also you will want to try some J-Plugs too.
Brown Trout are being taken in the 50 to 90 foot of water areas straight out North and South of the harbor.
Perch, try inside the harbor along the channel and south of the harbor by the cemetery using minnows.
Walleye, try North, straight out and South of the harbor at first light in 40 to 80 feet of water on crawler harnesses or small spoons and body baits. Early mornings and late evening.
Keep those lines tight!
