Harbor Beach Fishing Report August 15, 2016

Some nice Steelhead are being taken near the color lines out in 80 to 120 foot of water areas on bright colored spoons off the boards.

Some nice Lake Trout are being taken in 80 to 120 foot of water working the bottom with dodgers and spin and glows, and clean spoons off the downriggers covering the 50 to 120 foot down areas.

There are still a few Coho Salmon being taken out in 90 to 130 foot of water areas on clean spoons run down 15 to 70 feet. Try running some clean spoons on the Offshore Boards as well, 5,7, and 10 colored leads should work.

A few Walleye were taken on small spoons, thunder sticks, and crawler harnesses working the 70 to 100 foot areas.

Some nice Bass were being taken in close to shore casting small body baits and spinners.

Please use care when fishing, and keep an eye on the weather and wind. It can pick up quickly and the waves can grow fast.

Keep those lines tight,
