Lake Trout fishing is fair to good and are being taken in 90 to 100 feet of water straight out and North of the harbor, as well as out as deep as 145 feet of water using spoons or Dodgers with the green with white wing spin and glows fishing close to the bottom. Also try yellow, gold, orange with yellow and black or green colors for best results.
A few Salmon are being taken mixed in while fishing for the Lake Trout. Try some Spin Doctors and Action Flys off the Dipsey Divers back 150 feet. Spoons off the downriggers and dipsey divers, black with glow oval color have been working. They have been setting in the top 75 feet of water.
Walleye fishing is fair. Try fishing North of the harbor with the crawler harness and hot and tots, continue to troll in 20 to 80 feet of water. Long lines have still been working best. Best colors continue to be the copper, orange, green and yellow colors straight or with small blades in front.
Bass fishing is still very good casting around the weed beds inside the harbor and close to shore North and South of the harbor.
Perch fishing is slow but a few are being taken South by the cemetery, or out in 30 to 60 feet of water using minnows.
Steelhead action is still decent if you find those color lines, try out as far as 150 feet of water or deeper, troll those bright color pinks and orange Dreamweaver lures for best results back 150 feet off the Offshore Boards. If they are on a slow bite, try speeding up more than usually, it works!
Keep those lines tight!
