Salmon fishing is good with some Kings, Coho, and even an Atlantic or two being taken South of the harbor in 25 to 40 feet of water. Try blue dolphin silver streaks off the downriggers 6 to 15 feet down. Dipsey divers out 22 feet with spoons, green, blue and orange colors have been good. Try three ways off the offshore boards with a big lip bomber on the bottom and a spoon over top for added action. Fish the mud lines, the fish are setting right along them. If you fish the clear water get your lures back away from the boat.
Lake Trout are being taken in close as well using the same methods as for the salmon.
Brown Trout are South of the harbor in close to shore. Get your lines back from the boat, top to bottom, just be careful in close with all the rocks. Spoons and body baits are working well, blue, yellows and green colors are working well.
If you want to try for some perch you might try inside the harbor along the channel and by the lighthouse using minnows.
Be safe, and keep those lines tight!
