Lake Trout fishing is good straight out, North and South of the harbor using Dodgers and Spin and glows fished right down on the bottom. Try medium and large size spoons off the downriggers as well. Best colors are the glow in the dark, purple, pink with white dots, yellow, green, and black colors. Work the 80 to 130 foot of water areas for best results.
Steelhead are being taken out on the color lines in 80 to 140 feet of water, try the new Offshore Tadpoles on with your monofilament lines to get them down deeper. The Offshore boards are also working well with 5 and 10 color lead lines with bright color spoons.
Some Salmon are still being taken mixed in with the Lake Trout using medium and magnum size spoons off the boards and downriggers from 30 to 70 foot down in the same depth of water. Try adding Tadpole weights with spoons off the Offshore boards to get the lines down deeper.
Perch fishing is still on the slow side try by the Light House and along the channel inside the harbor with minnows and night crawlers. You might want to try South of the harbor by the cemetery in 25 to 40 feet of water as well.
Walleye fishing has slowed, try off the North wall early morning and late evening casting small body baits and spoons. Try the green, purple, silver and blue colors. Also try trolling out in 20 to 60 feet of water with crawler harnesses, small spoons and small body baits.
Bass and Pike are being taken inside the harbor and close to shore casting small body baits and spoons.
Keep those lines tight,
